On Tuesday night, October 25, 2016, the National Junior and National Honor Societies welcomed 14 new members into their club membership. These students were selected based on the four pillars of the honor societies: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

On November 15, 2016 Orlando Science Schools students will participate in the 32nd annual American Mathematics Competitions 8 (AMC 8). The AMC 8 is the nation's leading mathematics competition for middle schoolers and is designed to cultivate the mathematical capabilities of the next generation of problem solvers. In 2015, approximately 150,000 students worldwide participated in the AMC 8.
Orlando Science College Mentorship Program (CMP) organized the first of its “Career Talk Days”. It featured Annie Martin from Orlando Sentinel. She shared invaluable information about journalism and future of the career.

Science fair is a great way for students to explore any interest they have in science. Be it a Engineering Design, a Psychological Study, or a classic Research Experiment. Students are encouraged to expand their creativity to solve a problem in society.
