On Saturday, April 18th, the Governor announced that Florida K-12 schools will continue Distance Learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

Please make sure your student accesses each course in OSS Connect every day, follows their teacher-led schedules, and completes their assignments. Our teachers are here to help and support our students so please reach out to them during their office hours if assistance is needed. Contact may still be made with our campuses via phone Monday through Friday from 8 am – 4 pm if you have additional questions.

All students receiving Distance Learning are subject to the OSS Student Code of Conduct and any applicable OCPS policies and Code of Conduct, as well as the new OSS Distance Learning Behavior Guidelines and Student Code of Conduct and Netiquette. As an online student, there are additional rules and expectations which are in place to protect all students, teachers, and staff. Distance Learning resources must be used in a responsible, safe, efficient, ethical, and legal manner. Responsible use of Distance Learning educational tools can be highly effective. We appreciate partnering with parents to teach responsible internet use and Distance Learning responsibilities.

We will overcome these challenges as we work together to ensure our children’s education continues. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to when we can all be together again.
