We are pleased to congratulate the following Juniors entering the "2020 National Merit Scholarship Program". They have earned more than 212 index points to become eligible for this great opportunity. Each of these students is among is the 50,000 highest scoring participants out of 1.6 million program entrants

The Orlando Science Lynx Lane Science Department Presents Family STEM Night! The event will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with doors opening at 5:30 PM, refreshments will be served prior to activities. Tickets are $10 per family and may be purchased via SCHOOLPAY.
Orlando Science Middle High has been awarded the 2020 NJHS and NHS Chapter Certificates. These certificates were awarded for recognizing and promoting the qualities of scholarship, service leadership, character and citizenship in students by maintaining an active NJHS and NHS Chapter.
Orlando Science Schools would like to recognize the students who participated in the 2019 Duke University Talent Identification Program’s 7th Grade Talent Search. Forty OSS students have earned an award by scoring approximately at or above the national average
On Thursday, March 28th, We had a special visit from Japan. These students arrived from the Munakta High School. The school is in the Fukuoka Prefecture, not too far from Meizen High School, another school from Japan visited Orlando Science in previous years.

On Saturday, the OSS Model United Nations team traveled to Pinellas Preparatory Academy in Largo to participate in FMSMUN St. Petersburg 6. The conference teaches middle school students about the UN System along with the challenges facing the international community in a friendly, academic manner.
OSHS is proud to announce that our very own 10th grader Alexis D. was acknowledged for her work with Vista Lakes Elementary refugee and immigrant students. Last week she earned the OCPS Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award for putting many hours and a lot of effort into her program CAFYIR
OSS is proud to announce that our very own parent, Edith O’Haver, won an Orange County Volunteer Award for the 2018-2019 school year! She has been volunteering at Orlando Science Middle High for the past two years. She started her volunteering journey with us as PVO Member
We are pleased to announce that 7th Grader Trey C will be heading to World competition for percussion! Trey was selected to play a part as a young "ringmaster" with an adult/high school group Infinity at the competition. Trey was selected to advance to the world competition
