Our Orcas competed against the best teams in the national, placing 23rd out of 60! This victory was the best performance by a Florida team in over 13 years, and the second best in the history of Science Olympiad! The performance was also the best among all the teams from the Southeast.
On individual events, our students placed third in the Science Quiz Bowl, tenth place in in the Circuit Lab and Mystery Architectures and twelfth in Boom Lever.
We expect an even greater victory at next year's tournament at North Carolina State, as most of our Orcas will return to compete again. As always, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our team, their coaches and parents on their hard work and invaluable dedication!
Congratulations Orcas on this outstanding achievement!
