Article Orlando Science Lynx Lane and Technology Campus Host Annual Spring Concert at Seminole State CollegeThis past Monday, May 14th, the music programs from the Orlando Science School Lynx Lane and Technology Campus hosted their annual Spring Concert series at the concert hall at Seminole State College - Lake Mary/Sanford campus.

The first concert had performances by the Elementary and Technology Middle choral groups, which presented the audience with classic tunes, step routines, and delightful showmanship. The second concert presented the band programs across all of the campuses. The Technology Campus Beginning Band and Advanced Band played some pieces featured on stage and screen, as directed by Ms. Marisa Parrella with assistance from members from our own concert band. The concert was concluded with performances by the Lynx Campus Beginner Band and Concert Band as directed by our own Mr. Andrew Jenkins. The Beginner Band played “High Adventure” and “Rising Star” as a way to show off their progress. The OSS Concert Band played “Suite from Handel’s Water Music”, “The Last Rose of Summer”, and “Portrait of a Clown” to showcase some of the pieces that were other possibilities for MPA this year. The concert was a smashing success with rave reviews from all in attendance. We thank everyone who came out to see and hear all of our music programs and who have supported our music programs throughout the year.
