Orlando Science Elementary’s Science Olympiad Team competed in Lake Nona at the Florida State Science Olympiad. Students spent months preparing for this event through rigorous study and practical application through engineering and invention. Science Olympiad challenges students to comprehend and retain copious amounts of science information. This information is then applied during 13 unique events to test their new found knowledge and skills. This competition was particularly challenging as schools from across the State gathered to compete. With over 70 teams arriving for the chance to win, we had plenty of worthy opponents.

OSES was excited to have the chance to send 3 teams to the event. We are humbled and proud to announce that our teams did a magnificent job, taking home many medals and sweeping a few of the events.

Out of all the teams and schools registered at the event we were able to obtain a 1st and 6th overall placement. We would like to thank all of the families, coaches, and most importantly students for dedicating so much time and effort to this team. It is through your hard work and perseverance that we were able to reach such a high level of success.
